PORTABLE SOLAR OVEN, 2006

Materials:
Cardboard(from the dumpster), aluminum foil, glue, tape, black paint, newspaper and glass
Design aim:
Build upon prior experience in the making of a portable version that woud be easy to bring with you. This should be reached without using other materials than the other versions. Using the same angles for the sides that worked on the other models and have a simple shape that is easy to build as well. Using the glass to capture the heat in the box with tha aim to reach a higher temp.

Outcome:
It works like a charm and you can make almost anything in this. The glass makes the heat stay inside the box and that makes the temp rise. We have made everything from chocolate chip cookies, to bread, coffee, heating pizza and burittos and the best part is that nothing gets burned.
